There aregood bus and underground links to the rest of the city and the traffic and parking are not too bad. Indre Oesterbro (inner Oesterbro) It’s situated between the centre and the north of Copenhagen, has become a popular place to live. Vesterbro
Vesterbro, in the western part of the city, has changed a great deal over the last ten years; it used to be a working-class quarter and renowned run-down* district 200 years of age, but it has now become one of the hippest** places tolive and go out. The city government gave them an overhaul*** and the social structure and organisation areconsequently much improved. Cafes, restaurants, bars and shops are popping up and there is a lively nightlife withconcerts, street theater, painters, and artisans selling handicrafts everywhere. The price of accommodation is risingconstantly but it is not an expensive area to live in; supermarkets for example have low prices. The main railwaystation is on the border between Vesterbro and the city centre, making it easy to reach other parts of Copenhagen andDenmark. Public transport is also efficient, although residents still prefer to move around by bicycle.
 *in poor condition, in disrepair.
** cool and trendy.
*** general examination and repair.

Ydre Oesterbro (outer Oesterbro) Though workers or socially marginalized people live in some apartment blocks, outer Oesterbro this is the rich upper-class quarter and the wealthy occupies most of it. The northern part of the district is made up of villas with gardensand the prices to rent or buy a property are very high. Trains and buses cross the area, but services are not as frequentas in the centre. It may be useful to have a car or bicycle here.
